What kind of help
Depending on the problem and your comfort level, Grandpa TJ will lay out how to fix it yourself, with links to how-to videos and manuals when that fits. If you need a professional (plumber, mechanic, and the like), he'll tell you what questions to ask for an accurate diagnosis — so you know what you need before someone tries to sell you "everything in the store."
How it works
Email: describe the problem and send pictures. You'll get a prompt analysis or follow-up questions. Members can also schedule phone or video chats (FaceTime or Messenger) for those times when talking through it — or actually seeing the problem — helps get the right troubleshooting, right now.
How much
Just $12 a year. Unlimited emailed questions. Up to 12 free scheduled phone or video chats per year. Extra calls are quoted when you book them and are based upon the expected time required — usually under $10 each call.
